Team 26: Cellular and Molecular Immunology of Chronic Inflammatory Diseases
Centre d'Immunologie et des Maladies Infectieuses (CIMI Paris)
Pr Guy Gorochov
The team has played a pioneering role in the definition of regulatory T cells in humans and their role in chronic inflammatory pathologies such as Lupus, Scleroderma, Sarcoidosis and more recently transplant rejection.
Research is currently oriented towards the study of the influence of the microbiota on the triggering of autoimmune pathologies (multiple sclerosis) and the characterization of targets recognized by autoimmune antibodies. The immune/microbial interface is also analyzed in situations of complicated autoimmune deficiency.
