Team 25: NK and pathological diseases

Centre d'Immunologie et des Maladies Infectieuses (CIMI Paris)

Pr Vincent Vieillard

The team's activity is centred around NK cells, ranging from basic research to clinical applications. It is organized around the identification and characterization of new markers involved in the control and/or activity of NK cells in physiology and physiopathology. This includes the exploration of the beneficial and deleterious effects of NK cells:
  • in viral pathologies. The models studied are mainly HIV and emerging infections (Chikungunya, Dengue and hemorrhagic fevers).
  • in tumoral and inflammatory pathologies
