K-VIROGREF network

Viral-induced cancers in transplanted patients

The K-VIROGREF network was structured in 2011. It is a national expert network initiated thanks to funding from the National Cancer Institute (INCa), following a call for tenders to structure the care and management of rare tumours in adults in France.

Within the network, an epidemiological, clinical and anatomopathological study of a cohort of adult patients with virus-induced cancers after solid organ and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation has been set up (induced EBV lymphoma, Kaposi’s sarcoma HHV8, Merkel Polyomavirus tumor).

It is therefore a national, non-interventional, multicentre, open-label, non-randomized study.
